Got inked
So today was a day I carried out my rights as a responsible citizen. Yea, I actually went out to cast my vote. I was in two minds before deciding to do so as I had given these things a miss during the previous ones. Early in the morning, I switched on the television to keep an eye on proceedings and to see if there is a huge rush. We have a huge problem with the summer heat and whether or not I have to stand in the long queue for hours was going to be a factor for me. So I timed it right when I went out in the afternoon and I was able to get a clear entry to my booth and cast my vote. Now all that remains to be seen is whether the winner is going to appreciate this or not.
