Lost in a crowd

Hugging the Bear

I am on the last week of June and I still cannot believe the pace at which time is flying by. With the economy in which we live in starting to act crazy and the effect of AI killing my mental health, I am starting to feel drained out already. As you can see my blogging pace has been anything but consistent, and with the risk of hosting my content on different platforms has given me mixed results.

After years of writing on the mainstream biggies like Blogger and Wordpress, it was during the pandemic that I decided to try something different, give independent software a try. This meant I had to learn more tech jargon, a new language and understand hosting technology. Markdown has been an incredibly fun experience and with that it opened enormous opportunities on multiple platforms. The past five years have been mostly giving these platforms a go and see how it goes. Since I am not writing for money and I am doing this more for myself as blogging helps me unwind my mind a lot.

And now, that journey has brought me to bear. I had several back and forth emails with Herman and the more I read his mails, the more I felt confident in the space. Sure, in the world of wide web, nothing is permanent and for what bear offers, I am more than happy with the deal. And so, I upgraded my account and now this is my new home.

A big thank you to Harman as well for making this possible.
