Little wins
Having had a rough patch with workloads over a couple of months, I found some fresh air by taking some time off. I had a bunch of chores to do and sure, as long as I am not stuck in front of my work system, this was okay. With the newly found free-time, I found a way to finally make a purchase that was pending in my wish-list for so long.
I had heard about it for the first time during the pandemic. I was looking at numerous YouTube videos watching hobbyists and tinkerers flaunt their new projects behind clocked walls. Obviously, I really wanted to have my hands on one of those beauties. But unfortunately, those precious gems were hard to get as they were either exorbitantly priced or just out of stock. I was frustrated and eventually forgot all about it....until now. I came across a video where they were talking about a newer version and how it was powerful than ever before. Not surprisingly, it was expensive and power hungry as well. But while browsing these things, I stumbled upon that long forgotten dream and it was at a good price (to me anyway). And after three years, I finally got one. My first Raspberry Pi.
I am no genius when it comes to computer stuff but I was lucky enough to follow some tutorials and I setup a thing or two on it. I spend some time and money to find good case for it to live in. I know this post may sound childish but yeah, little things make me happy.
Until next time...
